BRANCACCI CHAPEL: MASACCIO’S EYE – MOTION GRAPHIC
Video made for a permanent installation at the Brancacci Chapel in Florence on the occasion of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of Masaccio’s birth.
Thanks to 2d and 3d computer graphics and an innovative language, the video lets the observer “enter” the painting of one of the greatest masters of the Renaissance, preparing him for the view of the frescoes of which he explains the symbols and the stories and comparing them as well. themes are addressed by other painters.
An unprecedented and particular journey, very different from the usual way of narrating art, even visually.
